New year’s card for Dutch Comic Artists Association
For the Beroepsvereniging Nederlandse Stripmakers (Dutch Comic Artists Association) I made the 2016 New Year’s Greetings Card.
Cunera’s scarfe
Cunera’s scarfe is the story of Cunera, patron of the town of Rhenen (in the province of Utrecht, Netherlands). The town’s church is named after her, as are a long road, a lane, a hill, a school, liquor and cookies.
But why? Who was Cunera?
On mission
The Netherlands took part in about 100 missions all over the world, since World War II. Ten personal stories, from the Dutch East Indies tot the Balkans, from Lebanon tot Papua New Guinea were made into comic stories, by ten Dutch artists, in styles as diverse as the countries and missions.
